Dry suits are recommended in waters 65 degrees or lower temperatures. Cold water environments (temperatures about 40 degrees and lower) such as the kelp forests in California, wreck diving in the Great Lakes, and here in our own back yard of South Dakota require specialized equipment. The DRYSUIT helps maintain diver warmth and comfort, conserve energy, decrease fatigue while underwater as well as keeping the diver warm at the surface.
While not difficult to use, there are a number of procedures you need to learn, for your safety, comfort and suit maintenance.
Pre-registration is required. Drysuit rental is available.
